The Last Lions is a conservation enterprise that needs your help. Whether you would like to become involved in this project as an individual, organisation or group that has the many skills needed to ensure the success of the project you are most welcome to reach out and contact us.
The list below is a couple of the initial pathways where you can register your interest so we can utilise your help. Over time as the approval process nears completion, we will be launching individual sponsorship programmes and fundraising for the general public to invest in this worthwhile project.
Research
The Last Lions is dedicated to encouraging research that contributes to the body of scientific knowledge about big cats and their environment.
We welcome researchers, including MSc and PhD students, who wish to conduct research projects. All researchers must complete appropriate application documents and have their proposal accepted before any data collection can take place.
Skills Contribution
Over the course of the project, we will be building our team.
For example, are interested in our project from a media perspective? Do you have a communications background or technical skills (digital media, editing, influencer, YouTube etc)?
Ambassadors
The Last Lions is delighted to announce that we will be looking for ambassadors, a role that will be crucial to help us spread awareness of lion conservation efforts and The Last Lions work.
Depending on their availability, the Ambassadors may be asked to attend an event to help raise its profile; back a campaign launching and/or help spread the Last Lions key messages via their social media (and other media) platforms, among other requests. The role will ultimately help the organisation further its awareness worldwide.
Support through Corporate Social Responsibilities
The purpose of CSR is to make an organisation socially responsible so that it can create a positive impact on the environment, stakeholders, consumers, suppliers, employees, and all members of society.
The Last Lions team are dedicated to their efforts in big cat conservation and habitat protection coupled with wildlife research and would benefit from CSR initiatives.
The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility has always been encapsulated in the tradition of philanthropy and has focused primarily on education, health, religious activities, and women empowerment. But the field of wildlife conservation that requires substantial capital and efforts to conserve and manage the wide array of wildlife it holds is one of the most negligible and insignificant sections of all.
If you think we could help expand your company’s CSR reach, please get in touch.
